Your site basics

This sets your site title, tagline, and locale. You can change these any time by editing config.json.

Used for RSS/JSON feed link elements. Set it after you know your deployment URL — you can always re-export config.
Used for the HTML lang attribute and date formatting.

Connect your sources

Toggle the services you use. Credentials are public usernames only — no passwords, no OAuth tokens.

Letterboxd → Movie reviews
Your public profile username from letterboxd.com/username
Goodreads → Book reviews
The numeric ID from your Goodreads profile URL: goodreads.com/user/show/156537159
Steam → Game reviews
Your custom URL from steamcommunity.com/id/username
Note on Steam reviews: Steam's public review pages are scraped. If your Steam profile is private or your reviews are hidden, they won't appear. Make sure your profile and game details are set to public.

Choose a theme

Each theme ships complete — you can change it any time without losing your review data.

Default
Visitors can toggle this themselves if you enable the theme toggle feature.

Every item here is a config flag. Disabling a feature removes its UI element from the built site — no dead code.

Download the config file, then follow the three steps below to get your site live.

Deploy in 3 steps

1 Clone or download the review-site repo. Place your downloaded config.json in the root.
2 Install and sync: npm install && npm run sync — this pulls your reviews into data/reviews.json.
3 Build and deploy: npm run build — then upload the dist/ folder to Netlify, Vercel, GitHub Pages, or any static host.
